PROJECT 3

I want to change my plan because i got some technical problem here. My plan was messing up the five photos of mannequin by using photoshop and represent them in my blog. However, I see the photos without photoshop effects look better than the ones with the effects. I’m not skilled enough, so I just can’t make the look that i want using photoshop. But I’ll try to use it for some panels.

As I said, the story starts from the beginning of mannequin’s life. I will concentrate on the motion expression of the mannequin. Most of the expressions represent loneliness. After he gains a life, he realizes that having a mind brings him a depression.

EXPRESSIONISM
For this panel, I actually wanted the mannequin look confused of the new world, because this is the part when he gains life and looks at the world that he has never seen. The one with the blight eye and mouth seems scary as you said but funny in some ways, which i didn’t want it to be. I took out the facial expression and made some parts blur. I want to have a feeling that he is in a dream.

These two are my previous post. I didn’t know i had to keep them.
EXPRESSIONISM

The story for this project is based on the time that is before the mannequin escapes the room. It shows how he gains life, and what makes him to leave the room.

My words are CREAT & DESTROY

1) For the cubism, I want to take pictures of different body parts of the mannequin and combine them together to represent cubism. I’ll also take pictures of my hands that are grabbing specific parts of the mannequin’s body. It will show that I’m assembling the body parts to create a complete mannequin.

2) For the expressionism, I’m going to put a facial expression on the mannequin’s face. I’ll focus on the word “CREAT” for this panel. I’ll attach a shape of heart on the mannequin’s chest, and the mannequin will have a face that is terrified. When the lives are born, most of them would be scared of seeing a new environment. It’s like a story of Pinocchio.

I’ll concentrate on contrast and chroma. This panel will be done in photoshop.

I am a mannequin, but I can move and think like humans. If somebody sees me that I’m alive, I’ll be in a big trouble. I wish I was born as a human. I want to go out and feel the nature that I never experienced in this house. My boss left the house for vacation in the morning, and it is a great chance for me to leave this house. I open the door and run down the hallway. I check the front door, but I see nobody. I reach the outside world, but I still have to be careful. I see a man reading a book. He doens’t notice me because he is really into that book. I see the beautiful park right in front of me. I can see the trees and flowers. I also hear birds and wind. What a beautiful place compare to the house that I just left. Now, my final mission is to get into the park without being noticed. I run and get in the park. It was easy. I smell the flower. It is the most sweet smell that I ever have. I look around and feel that the world is too large for a small mannequin.
